Because… I actually do know how to relax: I make time to nap most days, I cook for fun, I go out with friends for the pure pleasure of connection. I get massages. I even play games…sometimes.
I shared the recipe with my parents years ago. They still eat a piece of it everyday. It is glorious toasted, with a dollop of yogurt, jam or nut butter.
I’ve made this salad many many times, and each time, I’m not only grateful for the gift that continues to give, I’m just grateful that there’s a recipe for a salad that our whole family loves.
