Tahini Date Protein Bites

It does not have to be hard to create healthy treats. You don’t even have to turn on the stove, or the oven!

Having the right ingredients, and making a little (I mean, little) time to make something like these protein bites is a way of taking of your future self… because she will thank you for it!

It’s imperative that you have a food processor for this one. It comes together in no time, and you can change up the recipe to your liking.


TAHINI DATE PROTEIN BITES

Recipe inspired by Dara Schwartz

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup rolled oats
  • 9 medjool dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup almond butter (or any other nut or seed butter)
  • ¼ cup tahini 
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients in a food processor until sticky and well blended 
  • Make balls with scooper and roll with your hand, then refrigerate until ready to eat!
  • Store in an airtight container to enjoy for a few days!
