You can’t change what you can’t see.

I don’t remember who said it or where I got it from. What I remember is that the instant the message registered, my head exploded — a little.

Weight loss requires change.

The first thing to address any change is to know what needs to be changed.

It requires that you gather data – so you can see.  

Two very important data for your weight loss journey include:

  • Your current weight
  • Your current eating patterns (when and what you eat)

Without these data, you won’t get very far in your weight loss progress.

It may be the hardest step for you to shine a light on these data because you will have lots of things to say about them. You might not want to know about them. 

Resisting these data means you are fighting with reality which never gets you very far.
